WHY SERVE?

Without volunteers, the mother of three wouldn’t be able to sit through a service, the man who’s had a discouraging week wouldn’t get a handshake and a smile, and the child with a messy home life wouldn’t feel known.

YOU create the space for someone to have a life changing experience.

This is what we’re here for.

Pave the way for life change to happen.

The way a person experiences the people of a church is the biggest reason they choose to come back. As a volunteer, you put a smile on people's faces, make sure their concerns are taken care of, and invite them into our family.

You are a part of something bigger.

You will operate on a team with a very specific mission and vision. You play a crucial part in carrying out what we value as a body of believers.

Connect with others & know what's going on in their lives.

The team you serve alongside are "your people." Your team will encourage you, check in with you, and make sure that you feel known.

QUESTIONS ABOUT VOLUNTEERING

How often am I expected to volunteer?

We generally schedule volunteers so that they consistently work the same weekend each month. You could, like most, serve once a month, or choose to serve more or less consistently. It’s entirely up to you!

How do I get started with volunteering?

The first step is to fill out a serve card in the back of your seat during service or click here to fill it out online.

We’ll ask a little about you to gauge where you might enjoy serving the most and get in touch with you.

Next, we’ll set up a time for you to shadow that position, learn the ins and outs, receive training (we don’t set anyone up for failure!), and put you on the schedule!

Will I receive training?

Absolutely. First of all, we want to equip you to be successful in anything you do. Second, it’s important to us that you understand why you do what you do. You’ll receive instruction on your position along with vision-casting so that you know how important you are whether you’re new with us or have been with us for years!
